My name is Onelio Tzampop Ajqui. I was born on the 22 of January in 1993 in the department of Quiche. All of my family is from there. I have a mother and a father and we all live together. I have a brother and a sister. I am the second. My older sister is 16 and my younger brother is 9. I am in the 5th grade.I live in Vista Hermosa. I study in Escuela Integrada thanks to my father who found it that’s why I have been studying here since the first grade. I have received gifts and prizes for my good behavior and this year I am the best student in my class. I like school because I see how everything is organized and how they put all of their support behind us so that we can learn everything.
The teachers in the school are good and they help us with everything. The activities that we do I like and I like how we read stories and we write stories. My classmates are good and they like me. When I arrive at home I go play. My cousins live in my house with me, my uncle who is my mother’s brother and my grandfather who is my mother’s father.
My mother works in a house washing clothes, making food, cleaning and my father works in a restaurant as a cook and he works until late at night. He helps us study and he buys what we need at home. My mother is the one that is almost always with us but my parents get along well and love us. My mother helps out my cousins and my grandparents. I am happy because I am studying in this school and I am happy with myself because of what I am achieving. I am happy because I have a brother and a sister and because I have a home. I am happy because my parents work hard and I am happy because I am smart and I do everything that my parents tell me.
